STD's are diseases that are passed from one person to another through sexual intercourse (either vaginal or anal).

Some of these diseases may be curable (such as gonorrhea), while others are not, (such as herpes or HIV/AIDS).

Risk of these diseases may be greatly reduced by using as a condom.
